Baynos
Baynos is the fourth project of the García (Mauro) family located in the Rioja Alavesa.
Parcel vineyards divided into smallholdings between 40 and 100 years old in Baños de Ebro, in the heart of Rioja Alavesa, on very poor clay-calcareous soils. Organic and biodynamic cultivation with the use of animal traction for vineyard work.
Manual harvest and alcoholic fermentation with native yeasts in cement. Subsequent aging in oak barrels, half new and half used. 20 months of aging.
Purplish-red color.
On the nose it presents aromas of herbs, plums, with hints of caramel and wood on a balsamic layer.
The palate is dry and creamy, with a fine and calcareous texture and a very interesting note of black tea. Delicious and tasty expression.
