Torralvo Gran Reserva Vizcarra
Torralvo Gran Reserva Vizcarra is a great wine that breathes Riberality and commemorates the winery's 25th anniversary. It is only in singular vintages that it is released on the market.
VINEYARD AGE: 80 years.
SOIL: sands and gravels with a calcareous bottom.
HARVEST: manual in 15 kg boxes. ELABORATION: selected on a double table, destemmed prior to fermentation, 20-25 days of maceration in small stainless steel tanks and in a wooden vat. 3 punch-downs a day at a temperature of 30ºC. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.
AGEING: 30 months. (24 months on new French Oak and 12 months on used American Oak)
High color intensity. Intense garnet colour
High aromatic intensity. Intense aromas of ripe fruit on a spicy and balsamic background.
Very high persistence in the mouth. It came with great complexity and with a lot of ageing potential.
