Vizcarra Garnacha
Vizcarra Garnacha is a fun and very appetizing wine for any situation.
GRAVITY PROCESSING
AGE OF THE VINEYARD: 22 years.
SOIL: clay-silty with calcareous background
HARVEST: manual in 15 kg boxes. ELABORATION: selected on a double table (bunch and grain), destemmed before fermentation. Processing by gravity in concrete tanks and entering to step inside. 3 steps a day during the 14 days of maceration. Malolactic fermentation in used 400 L barrels.
AGING: 14 months in 400-litre barrels. (50% American oak and 50% French oak used)
Cherry red with violet rim and medium layer.
On the nose it presents red fruit, citrus and spicy notes with good balance.
Tasty and pleasant on the palate, we find again red fruit and a touch of elegant oak.
