Quinta das Carvalhas Tawny Porto is a fortified and sweet wine, made from the traditional varieties of port.

Description

Fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine is strengthened by the addition of wine brandy once the desired sugar levels are reached. It is aged in old oak barrels and vats for 7 years.

This Tawny reserve reveals nutty aromas combined with subtle hints of caramel, spice and wood. Fruity and licorice flavors develop on a smooth, velvety palate.

Perfect with soft cheeses, chocolate and nuts.
