Celia is a wine of great expression, intensity, balance and tannic potential. A great ageing wine with a very long improvement curve.

AGE OF THE VINES: 70 years.

SOIL: sand, gravel and silty clay.

HARVEST: manual in 15 kg boxes.

ELABORATION: destemming before fermentation, 20-25 days of maceration in new 400 L barrels. 3 punch-downs per day. Maximum temperature of 29ºC. Malolactic fermentation in barrels.

AGING: 18 months in 90% French Oak and 10% American Oak.

Ripe cherry red.

Mineral nose, red fruit, licorice, vanilla.

On the palate it is tasty and spicy, persistent and long with ripe tannins.
