Mas de Can Blau is the wine of the highest expression of this winery in Montsant, owned by the Gil Family.
Grenache vineyards planted on rocky soils (liqueurs) together with Carignan clay and Syrah limestone. Very limited production with an aging of 18 months in French oak barrels.
Cherry red color with garnet rim.
On the nose, roasted and ripe fruit stand out, along with the memory of the terroir and macerated fruit.
The palate is fleshy, concentrated and powerful but without excesses, and a persistent and broad aftertaste.
The pairing of this red wine is numerous and versatile, red and game meats, powerful cheeses, stews, rice, sausages or stews.
