Manzanilla La Goya
La Goya, manzanilla from Sanlúcar. Emblem of the house, one of the most recognized manzanillas in the world. Impeccable, versatile and always appetizing. Its name dates back to 1918, when the famous cupletista and dancer of the time Aurora Mañanos Jauffré, better known as "La Goya", allowed the winery to make use of her artistic name.
A wine that is biologically aged under a veil of flor, with native yeasts selected over the years. Of the 100% Palomino variety, this manzanilla has been aged for about 7 years through the soleras and criaderas system, and is aged in American oak barrels recovered along the path of this century-old winery.
Pale golden yellow, clean and bright. On the nose it has a fine and intense profile, with nuances typical of biological ageing. The aromas of toasted almonds, citrus peels and chamomile stand out, among others. On the palate it is light, dry and very soft on the palate. It stands out for its persistence and unctuousness. Undoubtedly, a chamomile at the limit of its ageing, hence the name "pasada".
A wine born to accompany all kinds of delicacies from the sea, especially seafood and fried fish. It is perfect for an aperitif and is the traditional accompaniment to typical Andalusian tapas.
