Cream Monteagudo
Cream Monteagudo is a blending between the winery's olorosos and amontillados with raisined wines, such as Pedro Ximénez and Muscat, the latter being in greater proportion than in the medium.
Oxidative aged wine of the Palomino, Moscatel and Pedro Ximénez varieties, aged for about 10 or 12 years using the soleras and criaderas system in American oak casks. It's sweet.
Dark mahogany in colour, it has intense and very complex aromas with notes of raisins (raisins, figs, dried apricots). On the palate it is very smooth, with an excellent acid-sweet balance that gives it great volume and persistence. It combines the body of oloroso and the softness of pedro ximénez.
A very versatile wine, which shows off its virtues both as an aperitif and as an accompaniment to desserts, especially with fruits. It's the star of the trendy cocktail: cream, ice and a slice of orange.
