Description

VINEYARD AGE: 21 years. SOIL: Silty with clay-calcareous background. HARVEST: manual in 15 kg boxes. ELABORATION: selected on a double table (bunch and grain), destemmed before fermentation. 15-18 days of maceration. Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. 3 footsteps per day. Malolactic fermentation in barrels. AGING: 15 months in French Oak (90%) and American Oak (10%) barrels.

High color intensity. Intense red tones with purple edge.

Aroma of ripe fruit. Lots of minerality and freshness. It marks the variety a lot.

Wine with great complexity and power but the tannin is very velvety. The retronasal is reminiscent of berries.
